On October 31, 2024, Ausphin International Institute (AII) hosted Spooktacular October, blending festive Halloween fun for a cause. Culinary students from Batches 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16 transformed the AII campus into a vibrant and spooky venue, emphasizing the joy of giving back.
Festivities in Full Swing
The evening kicked off with an exciting costume runway where students showcased their creativity through unique Halloween attire. From iconic horror figures to imaginative designs, the costumes highlighted the students’ exceptional culinary skills and flair for artistry. Each participant shared the inspiration behind their look, sparking excitement and community spirit.
Meanwhile, Chef Lee and Chef Acee led a team of volunteers in crafting delicious snacks like pizzas and nachos, demonstrating practical culinary arts in action. The event also featured skillfully prepared beverages, with students taking on bartender roles to mix both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. This buffet-style presentation reinforced teamwork, professionalism, and their ability to create memorable experiences.
Strengthening Bonds Through Purposeful Activities For a Cause
Interactive games such as beer pong and “Two Truths and a Lie” brought lighthearted competition, encouraging students to bond and enjoy the evening. A karaoke setup added to the fun, showcasing their diverse talents and creating a relaxed atmosphere.

Recognizing Talent and Creativity
The highlight of the event was the presence of Mr. Tolga Yilmaz, AII’s Director of Immigration and Compliance. He joined the festivities, further inspiring students with his support and enthusiasm.
Mr. Yilmaz also selected the “Spooky King and Queen” of the night, honoring Francis and Lizalee from Batch 16 for their outstanding costumes. Their imaginative designs embodied the Halloween spirit and demonstrated a creative blend of fun and dedication.
