Culinary Studens Drives Positive Impact Through Sustainability
In line with its mission to shape globally aware leaders, the culinary students of Ausphin International Institute (AII) organized an inspiring tree planting initiative. Themed “Let’s Plant the Future Together,” this event was held at Wright Park, Baguio City, and brought together culinary students to connect environmental stewardship with their passion for culinary arts.

Culinary Students Take Action for Sustainability
AII’s culinary students from Batches 15 and 16 showcased their commitment to creating a positive impact beyond the kitchen. Guided by Forester Floro Bastian, they learned tree planting’s role in combating climate change and improving soil and air quality.
Forester Bastian also explained sustainability principles, highlighting biodiversity and trees best suited to Baguio’s unique climate and local ecosystems. This knowledge empowered students to understand how their actions bring positive effects to the environment and surrounding community.

Planting Trees, Growing Leadership Values
During the event, students enthusiastically participated in planting trees across Wright Park, carefully digging, planting, and nurturing seedlings. This hands-on experience taught them the significance of leadership beyond their roles as future professional chefs.
By integrating hospitality and culinary arts with sustainability efforts, AII nurtures well-rounded professionals who appreciate the broader responsibilities of their careers. Each tree planted serves as a symbol of hope and a commitment to safeguarding the environment.

Hospitality and Culinary Arts with a Purpose
This tree planting initiative reflects AII’s dedication to combining rigorous training in culinary arts with values like sustainability and community care. Students learn that being a culinary professional means more than mastering recipes—it’s about creating a positive impact in every aspect of life.
Events like “Let’s Plant the Future Together” highlight AII’s vision of equipping students with leadership and socially conscious skills. The institute prepares graduates to excel globally in hospitality and culinary arts while promoting sustainability and environmental care.
