Baguio City, Philippines – On Saturday, August 31, 2024, Ausphin International Institute celebrated the graduation of 21 aspiring culinary arts chefs at L’Epicure Hall, Lafayette Luxury Suites. This milestone event marked the culmination of a rigorous culinary course for Batch 8, 10, and 11, preparing them for success in the culinary arts industry.

Culinary arts is about telling stories through flavors
To begin, Mr. Tolga Yilmaz, Director of Visa & Compliance for Ausphin Group, welcomed attendees and commended the graduates’ dedication. Subsequently, Chef Didier Derouet, a renowned French pastry chef, delivered the keynote speech, inspiring graduates to embrace creativity.
During his speech, Chef Derouet emphasized that culinary arts involve storytelling through flavors, beyond simply mastering techniques and skills. Furthermore, Ms. Rachelle Yilmaz, CEO of Ausphin Group, highlighted the importance of leadership and innovation in the culinary industry.
She motivated graduates by stating, “You are not just chefs; you are innovators and leaders in the kitchen,” inspiring confidence and creativity. Additionally, Chef Angelo Velante, Head of Training, offered encouragement while stressing the graduates’ bright prospects in the culinary world.

- Best in Final Individual Assessment: Ms. Hannah Mae Villarta (Batch 8), Ms. Nicole Arales (Batch 10), Mr. Aristotle Louis Valdez (Batch 10), Mr. Nardo Patricio Jr. (Batch 11), Ms. Julee-Anne Gano (Batch 11).

- Above and Beyond (Highest Award): Ms. Julee-Anne Gano (Batch 11).
The highest distinction, the “Above and Beyond” award, was presented to Ms. Julee-Anne Gano for her exemplary leadership and culinary excellence throughout her studies.
